Day 1 Cape Tribulation
Departs 7:00 am Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
Departing early from centre of town, a fun and truly local tour guide will greet you with the friendly smile! Firstly, a brief introduction about the days itinerary and Adventure to come!
Our first destination is “Palm Cove Beach”, where we observe wallabies and kangaroos in their natural habitat, and check-out the luxurious beach of PALM COVE!
We then venture North to the cool touristy town of PORT DOUGLAS! It is here guests have the time to wander the streets checking out the shops and the true local ambiance of the bars and pubs. We also find some time to look out the famous four-mile beach of Port Douglas. “Lets catch some rays and relax!”
Continuing to the beautiful MOSSMAN GORGE! It’s time to put on your swimmers for a refreshing swim in the amazing mountain river!
We then proceed on to the notorious “crocodile infested DAINTREE RIVER” where we board a small sea vessel sightseeing crocodiles, snakes and extensive bird and marine life. During this time, your local tour guide will attempt to catch some fresh river Mud Crab for dinner!! HOPEFULLY ??
After the croc tour, we embark the Daintree river ferry to cross the River! Then on to the spectacular THORNTON PEAK scenic lookout for breathtaking photos of the oldest, low lying tropical rainforest in the world! This is truly a unique location where the rainforest meets the reef!
Our tour then continues north to CAPE TRIBULATION and along the way guests have the slight, but very possible chance, of sighting a highly rare and endangered bird called the “Cassowary”.
Arriving at our final destination: A Cape Tribulation beach hostel, where we will have lunch and chill out on the beach and take a small educational guided bushwalk through the rainforest.
After a big adventurous day, we cruise back to Cairns listening to a variety of music! As guests have the opportunity to play some of their own personal music on the bus! Being such a small and personal tour group, a bar invitational offer will be offered to guests to join in some fun and drinking at a local venue.
Day 2 Tablelands Waterfall Tour
- Departs 7 am on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
We start our fun filled journey around 7am, heading west up the mountain range with spectacular views over Goldsborough valley and famous Walsh Pyramid!” Continuing on to check out the beautiful LAKE BARRINE! Take a few Awesome early morning Pics of the surrounding landscapes and majestic lake. Time to stretch your legs!
Jump back in the bus Groovers!” As now we going to check out the most pristine lake in the Atherton Tablelands, LAKE EACHAM! Put on your swimmers as you are about to go for a swim in paradise!
Now on to a beautiful nature display: CURTAIN FIG TREE!” Here we take time to show you one of nature finest creations! A brief educational chat about the rainforest biodiversity and the importance of land management and conservation. Peace Bro! ?
Along the road to MILLAA MILLAA FALLS we take a brief stop in Malanda, where we’ve got a small surprise for you… let us introduce you some local friends of us… some super cute little turtles!”
Now prepare yourself to witness a truly picturesque natural waterfall! Have you heard about a waterfall where a Herbal Essence commercial was filmed in North Queensland!? Here you are! The place to flick your hair for some memorable photos of the tropics! After your personal photoshoot, let’s enjoy a basic picnic lunch in this wonderful place!
Is time to dry off, as we are going to view CRAWFORDS LOOKOUT!” Take some more awesome photos and descend down the mountain range to Josephine Falls. JOSEPHINE FALLS, voted by locals as the most popular swimming hole in the area! Be ready for some super fun, sliding your backside down a natural rock water slide. Time for cool and crazy photos…and guess what!? We stay at this local favourite place until all guests crew is ready to leave!
Don’t worry! The day is not finished as is time to play DJ on the bus during our cruisy drive back to Cairns city! If the fun filled day hasn’t made everyone too tired?’ We may go for a group drink or two at a local bar!
